Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about finding, booking and living in an Ease Your Lease home.

Quick paths

What do you need help with?

Choose a topic, then open a card for the full answer.

How do I find a home?

Browse All Homes, use the filters, and open any property to see its photos, price, location and availability. When you find the right one, use the booking action on the property page.

Are the homes furnished?

Yes. EYL homes come furnished and set up, so you can arrive with a suitcase, not a truck. The photos and details on each home show exactly what is included.

What does Female Exclusive mean?

Female Exclusive homes are available only to women. They carry a pink badge on the card and the home page, and all of them are listed on the Female Exclusive homes page.

Is there any brokerage?

No. EYL charges zero brokerage, always. The price you see on every home includes GST.

How is availability confirmed?

The latest availability appears on each property. If your dates need a closer check, contact the EYL team and mention the home you are interested in.

What documents do I need?

After booking you upload them in your EYL account: a photo ID (masked Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID), PAN, proof of work or study (offer letter, employee ID or student ID), a recent photo and the details needed for tenant police verification. The EYL team verifies them and prepares your agreement.

How do payments work?

Booking and rent payments are made through EYL's secure online checkout. The amount and what it is for are shown before you pay, and every payment appears in your account with a receipt.

How can I list my property?

Visit For Owners and share your property details. Our team will review the home and guide you through the next steps.

Which areas do you have homes in?

Six areas of Delhi NCR: Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

Can I see a home before I book?

Yes. Book a tour from the home's page and visit it before you decide.

How do I book a home?

Open a property, choose your move-in date and how long you would like to stay, then use Book now. Availability is checked before confirmation.

How much do I pay to book?

20% of one month's rent, and it counts toward your first month's rent. For a ₹23,000 home, that is ₹4,600. Before you move in, you pay the rest of the first month (₹18,400) plus a refundable security deposit of one month's rent (₹23,000).

When do I pay the rest, and when does my lease start?

Once your documents are verified, pay the rest of your first month and the one-month security deposit any time before you move in; there is no due date before then. Your lease starts on the day you move in, not the day you book.

Is tenant police verification done?

Tenant police verification is part of renting in Delhi NCR, so we collect the details for it along with your documents.

How do I pay rent each month?

Online, from your EYL account. No cash and no chasing.

Can I cancel a booking?

How cancellations and refunds work is set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Who do I contact when something needs repair?

Raise repairs and requests from Support in your EYL account. The EYL team handles them, so you have one point of contact.

How can I reach the EYL team?

We screen prospective tenants before move-in, so you can make a more informed decision about who lives in your home.

How is rent collected?

Through online rent collection, which keeps payments easy to follow and reduces repetitive coordination.

Which areas do you manage homes in?

Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. Tell us about your home on the For Owners page and we will take it from there.
